The knees are a common area that causes chronic or occasional pain. Each year, 11 million Americans complain to their doctors about knee-pain, and orthopedic surgeons are said to operate more often on the knees than on any other body part. Yoga can be an excellent solution to address many knee issues – and help stop them from turning into a complicated problem. In this workshop, you'll explore the roots of knee issues in the hips and ankles; practice means for stabilizing the knee without sacrificing range of motion through yoga asana; and learn strategies for managing your knees in general yoga classes.
